Crane Removal Marks an Exciting New Milestone

There's been exciting progress at Rockford this summer. The latest milestone: the removal of our crane from site last week.

While crane removal is a big signal of just how far the project has come since construction began last Spring, the team has been busy with plenty of smaller details as well - making progress towards exterior completion, and continued interior finishing, and amenity construction to keep the project on track for Spring 2027 completion.

Exterior Progress

Rockford's exterior continues to take shape as masonry, glazing, and roofing work advance across the building.

• Brick installation on the North elevation has now been completed, while work continues along 128th Street.
• Residential window installation is substantially complete, with curtainwall systems progressing throughout key amenity and common areas.
• Roofing and waterproofing work have also advanced significantly, and the installation of guardrails, trellises, and other architectural features is underway.

Interior Advancements

Inside the building, homes are becoming increasingly defined as construction progresses from rough-ins to finishes.

Drywall, painting, tile installation, and mechanical and electrical work are moving ahead across multiple levels, while framing activities are now substantially complete throughout much of the building.

Each phase brings future homes one step closer to completion.

Amenity Spaces & Landscaping

Rockford's indoor and outdoor amenity spaces continue to evolve, giving shape to the lifestyle residents will enjoy.

Curtainwall installation is progressing in the Level 2 amenity lounge and fitness space, helping define these future community-focused areas.

Courtyard landscaping work has advanced with porcelain paver installation nearly complete, and soil, decorative rock, and other materials delivered and being placed in their final locations.

Building Systems & Access

Behind the scenes, major building infrastructure continues to progress.

Residential elevator installation continues, with cab installation now underway.

Mechanical room construction and boiler piping work are advancing in preparation for upcoming commissioning activities.

Looking Ahead

As construction continues toward its anticipated Spring 2027 completion, Rockford is becoming increasingly recognizable as the community first envisioned.
