It's been a busy winter on the Rockford site, and we’re pleased to share the latest construction progress as the community continues to take shape.
North side of building:
The structure is nearing its full height, with HVAC ductwork and rebar in place ahead of the Level 5 concrete slab pour that will support the penthouse rooftop terraces.
South end of building:
Remaining areas of Level 3 are being prepared for installation of concrete party walls between homes and along corridors, enhancing both seismic performance and acoustic separation.
Courtyard area:
Voiding material is being installed beneath the future greenspace, creating waterproofing and thermal insulation between the concrete slab and the landscaping above.
Nordic Spa amenity:
The footprint of the Spa is now visible at the West end of the courtyard, including the recessed section for the hot tub and cold plunge.
What's Happening Next?
With steady progress continuing across the site, several exciting construction milestones are quickly approaching:
- Windows: Installation of Level 2 windows is expected to begin later this month - a key milestone as Rockford's interior spaces become better defined.
- Concrete construction: Structural concrete work anticipated to reach completion in late April.
- Exterior cladding: Brick installation scheduled to begin on the North side of the building in late April, introducing the first elements of the exterior façade as the building’s exterior character begins to take shape.
