For two generations of one family, Rockford isn’t just a place to live, it’s where two new homes became the foundation for something deeply personal. Long-time White Rock residents Ross and Marcia, and their son Blake and his partner Austyn, were kind enough to share what went into their meaningful decision to purchase at Rockford.
With thoughtfully designed spaces, bright interiors, and a sales experience rooted in genuine connection, their stories reveal how they found a true sense of community in Ocean Park’s newest chapter.
“There was never any pressure,” Ross reflects. “It was more like a friendship developing than a sales process.” From thoughtful discovery conversations to choosing the exact unit and orientation, the process felt personal and supportive at every step.
Design details stood out immediately — from the open balconies across wide floorplans that caught Marcia’s eye, to the well-appointed kitchens, spacious walk-in closets, and high-end finishes, “it’s wonderful to have that quality of workmanship,” Ross shares.
But it’s the lifestyle outside their front doors that excites them most. Nestled in Ocean Park, Rockford offers a walkable community close to the beach, local shops, and everyday essentials — a welcome change from the car-dependent life left behind in Chilliwack. “You don’t need to drive anywhere!” Austyn adds with a smile.
As first-time homebuyers, Blake and Austyn found the support from Cressey invaluable. “They always made sure we were doing okay, and once we became part of the ‘Cressey family,’ it just went from 100 to even more,” Blake says. “Now I only want to buy with Cressey.”
From peaceful gardens and thoughtful amenities to a shared sense of ease, Rockford offered both couples more than just a new address — it offered a place they’re proud to call home.
We were thrilled to welcome Ross, Marcia, Blake, and Austyn to the Rockford community, and are deeply grateful to them for sharing their experience with us.
