Cressey’s Mason development latest addition to North Van’s Lions Gate Village

With new projects and infrastructure improvements continuing in North Vancouver’s Lions Gate Village, the neighbourhood’s character is becoming more apparent as projects like Mason – Cressey’s rowhome residences – adds European-inspired elegance to the range of housing options in the emerging village centre at Marine Drive and Capilano Road.

Designated as one of the key areas for growth in the District of North Vancouver’s Official Community Plan (OCP), Lions Gate Village will include homes to suit a wide range of residents, commercial and retail space, a plaza and new amenities such as the community recreation centre and the major makeover and expansion of Belle Isle Park from 1,500 to 5,700 square metres.

“It’s a bit of a unicorn in terms of location,” says Lisa McDonald, sales director at Cressey. “I can’t think of anywhere else I’ve been where somebody has the luxury of being 10 minutes from the [Vancouver] city centre, minutes from the beach, world-class shopping and deep nature – it’s pretty amazing.”
