Construction at Century, our upcoming rental community in Central Lonsdale, continues to move forward and last week, we hit a major milestone: the final crane was disassembled and removed from site.
The crane has been a constant presence throughout the build, playing a key role in getting us to where we are today. Its removal marks a shift in focus as the project moves into its final phases, with exterior work wrapping up and interior finishing well underway.
We captured the disassembly process that gives a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to take down a crane, something that’s not often seen but is an important part of how a project like Century comes together.
Century is set to open next year, bringing new purpose-built rental homes to North Vancouver. We’ll continue to share updates as we get closer to welcoming our first residents.
