Cressey Open up their Doors to Communities with “Revolving Door at Meccanica”
Meccanica by Cressey has reached a milestone: a brand new Presentation Centre has opened up at the base of the stunning new tower. Located at First and Quebec, the space will soon be the future location of Intermeccanica. But for now, it’s home to the Meccanica sales team – and a few very special guests.
Revolving Door is a series of intimate events taking place at Meccanica’s new presentation centre between August – November, 2014, aimed at cultivating culture and fostering a deeper sense of community within the Southeast False Creek neighbourhood. From inspired art showings, to sustainable dining, to pet-friendly photo-shoots, the events have been curated by local connectors (who we affectionately refer to as our Revolving Door Residents) with a goal of telling their unique stories to the larger community.
The first event, ROVE, was held on Thursday August 7th. Hosted by local artist Jamie Smith, ROVE is an east-side art gallery crawl that will end at Meccanica, where Jamie had her beautiful works on display. Pssst: her work is so great we’re showcasing it in our gorgeous two bedroom showhome, pictured above!
